How do you choose a good laundry gel?

Laundry gelis favoured byconsumers mainly because of its much better solubility in water, especially at low temperatures, such as 30 or 40 degrees Celsius. The big brands, such as Ariel or Persil, are at the forefront of the production of such articles, which are based on tested surface-active ingredients that remove dirt perfectly. Is the universal washing gel effective?

Universal washing gel is effective at removing dirt and stains from different types of fabric. This is thanks to its special formula, which contains active ingredients that dissolve grease, stains and dirt. The all-purpose washing gel isalso gentle on fabrics, so it does not damage them or causecolourfading. However, it may not be able to cope with stubborn stains, for example from sauces, berries or grass. In such cases, it may be necessary to use a gel dedicated to a specific colour (white or black), or even to use a stain remover.

How to use a laundry gel?

A good laundry detergent in gel form keeps our clothes in perfect condition. Its use is not much different from that of powders:

• After loading the washing machine drum, close the door or the drum flap (depending on the type of washing machine).
  
  
• Then pour the washing gel into the appropriate place. The amount of washing gel you should use depends on the amount of washing you are doing and how dirty your clothes are. Usually, you should use about 1-2 tablespoons of washing gel for every 5 kg load. If the laundry is very dirty, we can use more laundry gel. If the laundry is delicate, we can use less detergent.

• In the next step, close the flap or door and start the desired programme. Here, it is important to match the programme to the type of clothes, their colour, but also the type of material. This will ensure that they do not shrink or deform.
  
  

Washing gelcanalsobeused for hand washing. In this case, dissolve the detergent in water in a ratio of 1 to 10. Then soak the clothes in the gel and water solution for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, rinse the clothes in plenty of water or in a fabric softener solution.

Where should I pour the washing gel in the washing machine?

Pour the washing gel into the detergent compartment, marked with the bucket or water drop symbol. Depending on the type of washing machine, the gel is poured into the compartment located on the washing machine door, and in others into a special drawer next to the display and programmer. In modern appliances, it is also possible to pour the detergent into a special place in the drum.
