Doormats for multi-user facilities are usually rubber, openwork, large-size mats laid in specially designated pits. They can also be metal doormats with or without a settling area. Their function is above all to collect the heaviest dirt, water, snow and mud.

House doormats are the more decorative and ornamental ones. We most often come across coir doormats of standard small sizes of 40x60 cm or slightly larger ones of 90x60 cm or 120x80 cm. Coconut doormats are so attractive and popular because their coarse and firm fibres perfectly clean shoes, they are moisture-absorbent, but in addition coconut fibres can be dyed as desired. These doormats can be printed with various patterns, slogans, greetings, they can even be personalised. They are certainly not boring.

Another type of doormats for homes are the rubber ones, a bit like the object ones. Most often they come in an openwork form; ease of cleaning is key here. Simply sweep the dirt from under the doormat and shake it off and wash it clean again.

The last category is plastic doormats. They often come with fine and dense needles, which allow for excellent cleaning of shoes. The downside is that they wear out relatively quickly.

In addition to doormats typically for doors, it is also worth looking around for decorative mats and rugs for the hallway. The choice is really large and interesting designs can decorate an interior staircase, corridor or hallway. These are customary flat woven mats, easy to clean, often finished with tassels and great for the oh-so-popular boho style in interior design.

You can also think about cosy fur rugs. They will warm up the atmosphere of the interior perfectly.

In the area of doormats, you should also remember about outdoor stairs. Here, for safety reasons, all non-slip doormats are ideal, either with a non-slip base or completely rubberised.

In the field of home floor textiles, timeless bathroom rugs should also be remembered. They are reliable and always in fashion. It is advisable to choose these versatile sets, in uniform colours to match the character and style of the bathroom.
