Spring interior decoration - how to decorate your home for spring?

Spring is a time when nature awakens to life and we gain energy for new activities. It is also a good idea to prepare our interiors for this time, to make staying in and relaxing there even more pleasant. You can read more about how to create a springtime ambience in your home in the following article, so have a read!

Bring colour into your home for spring!

The basis of decorating your home for spring is the right choice of colours. An absolute must have is the introduction of vibrant shades, especially on the basis of pink or yellow, however, in recent seasons, the combination of different variants of green with pastels has been particularly dominant. In this way, the interior becomes very cosy, has a fresh look and looks very elegant at the same time. This is why it is worthwhile to use, among other things, at home in spring:

  • Pillowcasesand decorative cushions, which turn out to be a reliable element of living rooms as they add a much more cosy feel. An excellent choice would be the 45x45 centimetre SOFIA pillowcases in dark green and beige, which are characterised by a subtle herringbone pattern that makes the cushions eye-catching without being too flashy. BLINK pillowcases in the same size will also work well in spring. These have patterns in the form of bright leaves on a green background, which is perfect for the spring time.
  • In spring, it is a good idea to also take care of the setting of the table at which we sit down to eat. A good tablecloth or runner will be a great option, as they will bring a touch of freshness to the interior. The beige NATURA tablecloth, measuring 140x280 centimetres, will go well on most dining room tables or in the living room, which will perfectly display tableware and other decorations.
  • Spring arrangements should also include crockery associated with that time of year. Various types of floral cups, such as the sensational LAWENDA BEATA/DOROTA Cup 350ml/shower 17.5cm, which is both feminine and elegant, will be perfect. For afternoon coffee or tea, the HARPER cup with saucer with a capacity of 250 millilitres, which, in addition to floral designs, also features images of birds and insects, will also be perfect.

Keep fresh flowers displayed in beautiful vases

We inevitably associate springtime with beautiful cut flowers, especially tulips, carnations and margaritas. On their own, they are a striking interior decoration, but let us not forget that each bouquet requires a suitable vase to enhance the aesthetic qualities of the flowers and at the same time provide an additional decorative element for the spring arrangement of the house. A versatile solution is to use transparent vases, such as the 25.5 centimetre high BOHEMIA GLOBUS model, whose design resembles flower petals. Clear variants, such as the CRISTIE DIAMENT vase with a height of 27 centimetres and in marble patterns, will make the interior not only lighter in appearance, but also much more refined.
