A lot depends on how much cake you plan to prepare and what kind of dessert it will be. Universal baking trays can beas wide as 23 cm and as long as 28 cm. If you assume that a standard piece of cake is 5 cm x 5 cm, you get 25 of them. The largest tins are 25 cm x 40 cm and allow you to portion your baked goods into 40 portions.

Models with a removable bottom are a convenient option. One of the more distinctive baking trays is the one dedicated to muffins with a hole in the middle. These have a diameter of approximately 23 cm.
What can baking trays be made of?
There are different types of baking trays available, which we can also divide according to the material used in production. The most popular are aluminium and stainless steel, as well as Teflon-coated options. In addition, you can encounter ceramic, glass and silicone. Glass moulds are often used for baking tarts. You may also come across models made of this material for preparing dinner dishes. Note that depending on what the baking tray is made of, you will need to choose the appropriate care, including cleaning. Some variants are dishwasher-safe. Remember that if you clean the tin by hand, you should not use rough sponges or brushes for this purpose.
